Harvey milks life was dedicated to gay rights. He even died for his beliefs. That's a lot like Martin Luther King Jr.
Gays do have support from the gay community and online and even from their families (some of them)
It's wonderful that so many young people care about this issue. What that shows is that WE will change this world for the better once it's our turn. But you do need to do a bit more research.

Do we all agree that what was started as womens lib is slowly dissinegrating because no one knows the definition of the word feminist? When spoken people think that it means women HATE men and we're ABOVE them. It means we want and deserve equal rights for both sides. How did it get so twisted. Feminists aren't one type of woman. We can range from lesbians to suburban mothers. From addicts to church goes. We are everywhere. We are a diverse group of women trying to keep the other confused women afloat.

I don't see how murdering an animal is a right. Murder for fashion...

I have been a vegetarian for over a year now and when I first started I did all I could to learn the facts and opinions surrounding this huge life change. I'm sincerely not trying to be rude but you are uninformed. Plants do NOT have feelings. They are a life force but not an intelligent life force (humans, animals)
Example: When people say there is no life on other planets it's not true... plants and bacteria grow on some planets... but that's not an intelligent life force.
As for health we do not NEED meat to be our healthiest. We need protein which if you study nutrition can come from many types of food.
Example: Protein that comes from organic soy beans is healthier than protein that comes from ham.
As for dairy there are hundreds of new studies (many from Harvard doctors and students) telling us that dairy is just plain not healthy. We are the only species that drinks milk past the age of two years old. Milk is ment for new borns who are getting the nutrients that are in the milk for the first few months. After that you're just drinking puss.
Animals in the wild will kill each other for food... well duh they can't go to the local grocery store and buy whatever they want. They kill to survive. We kill for taste. If you lived in the middle of the forest and had to feed your family of course you'd hunt, the animal would hunt you as well. But in this age we live in, eating meat is unnecessary and selfish. Not to mention murder.
