WINGS

3.5

out of 5

Personally, i am supporting a child in Africa who is an orphan through sending her money and multiple gifts around the holidays. She seems to be slowly advancing in school and it is a true blessing to watch her as she grows up into a intelligent, young woman with a lot of potential.

Also, around Christmas time i contribute in the organization that collects shoeboxes full of gifts for children of all ages(Operation Christmas Child) to areas that are in need of some hope for the holidays.

Hope that that inspires others to become involved:) Carolyn

I took on this challenge because I love children and sometimes all you need to do is to ensure that they know that they can do more with their life.

If hope dies, thier spirit dies with it. Everyone deserves hope.

You are so right! Hope is important and way more important than money because once we lose hope we lose everything. Our will to live and help others. It's awesome that you sponsor a child. Continue to change the world!

  • Allison6463 : Welcome JunkTeen and RecyclingLove. You two should check out the forums. They are a great way to connect with other members. Also, you can post a journal telling of some of the activism you partake in, as well as announcements and links. Be sure to check all of those out! :]
  • Allison6463 : For the new kids that don't know what to do, I would suggest the Forums. It would be a really nice way to get people connected. We just need to use them more. :
