WINGS

4.0

out of 5
Me and a few other students here at oakville sn. high in saint louis,MO have started an after school group that aims to stop the targeting of gay and bi students here at our school, and to educate other students on how and why they should not make the students that are gay and bi not feel bad and to learn to get along.

this group was started beacuse we noticed that a few students were being harassed beacuse of their orientation, and we didnt think it was right. this group has been talked badly about but we still keep on going and we dont plan on stopping any time soon.

  • cooyah : 8)this website have made me interested in teenagers rights to be open minded about their surroundings because they are a huge part of their environment and they are important.
  • cooyah : i belive that what teenagers have to say in this society is important and people should take notice wink
  • Allison6463 : Welcome JunkTeen and RecyclingLove. You two should check out the forums. They are a great way to connect with other members. Also, you can post a journal telling of some of the activism you partake in, as well as announcements and links. Be sure to check all of those out! :]
  • Allison6463 : For the new kids that don't know what to do, I would suggest the Forums. It would be a really nice way to get people connected. We just need to use them more. :
  • junkteen : Hi, I'm new...
  • Obama Girl : Write a journal entry about what you do and  connect with other members!
