WINGS

4.3

out of 5
I have now make beautiful gay rights posters and put them all over the school. We have a meeting tomorrow, so I'm waiting to see who shows up tomorrow. Even more anxious to see if all my posters last the day. Gay rights things have a habit of disappearing from the walls.

My close-minded school does not allow us to hang posters on the walls, and would not give me permission to hang the few gay equality ones I had on the wall. So, since out lockers our like our freedoms, we can pretty much put whatever we want on them. I had mine covered, lol. Of couse, most were gone in a couple days. However, I did get a note (among the many hate ones) from a guy who was afraid to come out to anyone. School really is a great way to spread the word. :]

Great job!

  • Allison6463 : Welcome JunkTeen and RecyclingLove. You two should check out the forums. They are a great way to connect with other members. Also, you can post a journal telling of some of the activism you partake in, as well as announcements and links. Be sure to check all of those out! :]
  • Allison6463 : For the new kids that don't know what to do, I would suggest the Forums. It would be a really nice way to get people connected. We just need to use them more. :
