Seriously Unsustainable Vehicles.
Teen activism is great, but I think being so young, we are more likely to go along with things that may be illegal. (Agree?) I mean, how many of you have done things that are considered illegal.
My boyfriend was informing me the other day that a friend of his in a environmental group that is a bit extreme. I asked how so, and he was telling me that they do many illegal things, such as burning SUV’s. I guess I understand that reason, but I also have a bit more respect. I know not all people will buy into the 'global warming' sermon, but burning their gas-guzzler does not seem like a productive way to fix that. I mean, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
I guess I just feel that as a very influenced teen, others and I could be talked into things such as this. Do you think this extremism is a good thing? I for one have my doubts.
