Hey there, I've been visiting this website for a longtime now, reading some things people are getting involved with and setting up. I've decided to set up this account to try to get some help also.
For the last year now I have been playing in a punkish band all around Ireland where we're from aswell as having good fun and tryin to make cool music we've tried to inject as much progressive action and positive activism into what we do. We passionatly promote and support causes over the web. We've opposed lignite mining (because of the disasterous effects on the enviroment) We have played animal rights benifit shows, we've been involved in demonstrations (Georgey bush isnt welcome) and played shows opposing Shell Oils dealings on the westcoast of ireland.
We're launch our album and playing a large fest in Belfast this month and really want to add to our leaflet distrubution at gigs. If anyone at all knows of anyway we cud get our hands on some good decent healthy info to hand out please contact us through our Myspace (www.myspace.com/axisof). Most users on this forum seem to be on the same page as us so im very excited. I know teenactivist is an american site but its worth a shot.
