I am a vegan with nothing against those who eat meat. i get that some people cant, and really, sometimes it isn't that bad. it makes me mad that SOME "animal rights" activists go around telling every meat eating person to stop, and that they are like, the devil reincarnate for eating meat (well, a slight exaggeration, but anyways). i am completely opposed to factory farming, and understand that that is where most meat/dairy/eggs etc comes from, but if you are not getting your meat from companies, but rather from independent farmers who treat their animals with respect, is it really that bad? i think the Native Americans had the right idea. only killing what you need, and manking sure nothing is wasted.
