Could you imagine a world with no trees? We wouldnt have air, we wouldnt have any shade, we wouldnt have anything to have picnics under. We couldnt live without trees. I see trees being cut down everyday and im sad when i see it. If the tree is dying i understand having to cut it down but if its perfectly fine but they are cutting it down anyways i think its just wrong. If they decide to cut down a tree because its dying then they should plant another tree in its place to continue the cycle. I have given myself a challenge that i must hug 10 trees every day and when i see someone sutting down a tree i must go and ask them why. This has acctually saved a lot of trees. Ane when i ask the people the ususally want to know why im asking them and i say "im just a tree hugger and i dont want a tree to be cut down for no reason" they usually decide that its not worth cutting it down. At my school they tryed to cut down a tree that my class planted in 1st grade and some of my fellow classmates and I did everything we could to try too stop them from cutting it down but they decided that putting an extra foot on a building was more important than a tree thats been there for 8 years and had sentimental value to most of us. My challenge to you is to hug at least 10 trees a day and when you see someone cutting down a tree go and ask why and explain to them why they shouldnt...you would be amazed at how many trees you could save.
