I have notice over the past two years that teen pregancy is on the rise. Also, more than 50% of teens between ages 15 and 19 have become vulnerable to Stds. I feel that sex education should not only be taught in schools but be just as mandatory as physical education. We are taught Phys Ed. almost evry year in middle and highschool yet there are many kids who need to learn more than just how to kick a soccer ball. I have formed a club within my school called "Students Speak Out". What ist consist of is a few kids get together and talk about our concerns with society and education. We also have guest come in and educate us on things we should know. For example, a lot of kids do not know their right as students and we have people come and teach it to them. However, although we have many goals our main initiative is to get Sex Education apart of the middle school and high school curriculumn on a yearly basis.
